J&B COMPUTING SERVICES ANNOUNCES FULL SUPPORT FOR THE NEXT RELEASE

OF THE JAVA™ DEVELOPMENT KIT

Next Release of JDK™ Software Provides the Foundation for the
Development and Deployment of Mission-Critical Solutions

Doorn, The Netherlands - 8th December 1998 - J&B Computing Services today announced full support for the next release of Sun Microsystems, Inc.'s Java™ Development Kit (JDK™ version 1.2). The next release of the JDK provides a rich feature set of new class libraries and tools, making it easier than ever for developers to create portable, distributed, enterprise-class applications. Sun's announcement of the availability of the next version of the JDK was made today during the Java Business Expo in New York.

"Since we started working with the Java JDK in 1996, we have marvelled at its continuing growth and richness in functionality and this latest release is certainly no exception." said Jackie Hale, Director of J&B Computing Services. "We are already working on incorporating some of the new features into our web-to-host software J42 for Application Access, an instant out-of-the-box solution for GUI on host applications."

J42 for Application Access is web-to-host software for an instant out-of-the-box GUI solution for host applications.

J&B Computing Services will be adding many of the new GUI features included in the JDK 1.2 release into J42 over the coming months. In addition, they plan to use the support for JDBC v2 into their other Java based products currently under development.
